Thank You to all who made Saturday’s “Big Brew” a success. There were many samples on hand ranging from light summer ales like Mike’s raspberry wheat to specialty brews like John’s espresso stout and every style in between. The excitement and enthusiasm was great to see, sharing ideas and teaching those new to the craft is what its all about.
Overall, the brewing went very smooth, both beers were fermenting like crazy on Sunday morning.
There was some informal discussion regarding the formation of a shoreline beer club. Jack was busy taking names and numbers for a future meeting. We decided once the East India Pale Ale and the Rocket Rod’s Positively Porter are ready to drink we should reconvene for a tasting. Keep an eye out for an upcoming date and location, in the meantime start thinking up a club name.
